Hi, my name is Pauline and I am currently 16 years old. Last year I decided that I wanted to do
an exchange. Firstly, I wanted to go to an English-speaking country to improve my English but sadly I
couldn't find hosts or fitting schools. After a while my family and I started asking French families with
Servas and after about a week there were three French families interested in hosting me. We
connected with a family in Rennes in Brittany and in May to June 2024 I spent six weeks there. The
family had two girls with whom I connected really well and they were all very active and sweet. I
went to school there with one of the sisters and we often spent the weekends by the sea. It was a great experience with a lot of adventure, new food and culture, nice people and a wonderful time. I
would love to do something like that again and I am looking forward to meeting my French family
soon. Maybe next year they will visit me.
