Interrail in Belgien

Hi I'm Pablo, 19 years old and live in Berlin. This summer I did an Interrail trip through Europe. On this trip I went to Belgium and visited Servas Members.
The first family I visited, the family of Barbara, was incredibly warm-hearted. On the first day I got a private tour with the daughter of my host Hania through Brussels. That day I saw the most interesting buildings in Brussels and of course went to Fritland. "There are no french fries, there are only belgian fries". That's what I got told.
On the second day I went to visit the Place de Brouckère and the Palais Royale de Bruxelles. Also, I chilled in the Park near the Palais.
On the third and last day at Barbars family I visited the Musée des Instrumentes de Musique, which was very nice. There were some instruments I had never seen before.
After these three days I went to a different host in Dilbeek, Gido and his wife Danjel. This family was very caring and showed me Dilbeek. Also did Danjel and I went to Gent, a beautiful city. In Gent I went to the Gentsee Feesten and listened to some music performed by artists on a small stage. I got to be honest, I did not understand a word when they were singing in french or dutch, but I liked it.
After the day in Gent Danjel and I did a walking tour in Dilbeek and saw a lot of paintings made from Bruegel. I learned that Bruegel used to use fields, water and mountains in his paintings. He would use one part like mountains from one place for example the Alps and the sea of Italy and "photoshop" it into his paintings.
Honestly the people I met in Brussels and in Dilbeek couldn't have been better hosts. They showed me around and made the time fly by. I'm
glad I met you guys and I hope to see you again.
Pablo
